The Fazenda Baía Grande was bought in April of 1994 and works with the slaughter cattle only, the fazenda opened its portieres for the agricultural and ecological tourism in July of 2001.
The family who is the owner has been living in the Pantanal for 150 years, always linked to the land, the preservation of the environment and the local culture.
The Lodge has partnerships, such as: the CRAS - Center of Rehabilitation of the Wild Animals, which is associated with the ABRATURR-MS - Brazilian Association of Agricultural Tourism of the Mato Grosso do Sul and the Agricultural Association of the Vale do Rio Miranda.
The Fazenda Baía Grande is an area to which very few tourists travel, and the atmosphere is cozy and genuinely friendly. The Fazenda Baía Grande a fine place to take a rest, enjoy the nature, read a good book or even to do nothing.
